Our thrift shop opened in July of 2007. We were worried that we might not have enough merchandise but a couple came in and told us that they were moving and downsizing. They wanted to know if we were accepting donations and that was an answer to our prayers. We received furniture, clothes, household items and lots of decorative items. The members of our church family cleaned out their basements, attics, garages and around their houses in general. All of those gifts have helped to make our shop successful. We have been so blessed.
The purpose of the shop is to support our church's outreach and mission programs and also help support our church. This is a simple goal but has also allowed us to be a real presence and influence in our community.
We have lots of out of town visitors but have many local customers that come back again and again.
